I did another shootout meetup at Reid Park on Sunday (July 22, 2012). I got involved in this via Meetup and Arizona Photo Events. This group puts generally inexperienced models and photographers together for a day of shooting. I got to work with 7 models total. All were great models and were a blast to work with. I got some great contacts and some great information. Anyway, have a look here and feel free to let me know what you think:

Walkabout Photos (2 July, 2012)
Took some great photos on Monday of some really great graffiti I found under the 22nd Street Bridge that runs over the Pantano Wash at 22nd and Pantano. Much of this graffiti has been here for a while since it is on the opposite side of the walk/bike path that runs down the Pantano Wash near my house. From the photos, you can see the area is pretty littered and it’s quite a hike to get up to where I could photograph these. I’m a huge fan of graffiti, though so it was worth it to check it out. On my way back, I was lucky enough to capture the pretty young woman with her amazing hair and her cute little dog. She was nice enough to let me take her picture. Thanks again and sorry; these can take a day or two to post once finished. Busy, busy, busy! Enjoy!
More Sexy Bookworms and Nude Shoots
It has been a shoot-tastic weekend! Did some more shooting for our super-hush, über-secret, on the down-low, Sexy Bookworms project on Saturday (30 June, 2012). Since so many have been asking, it was shot without strobes, using a set of 5500K balanced CFL lights with umbrellas. While strobes would have been better, the setup and time involved worked out great. Also, many of these girls are not models by trade, but librarians and booksellers! Shot mostly at ISO 800; f5.6-8; 1/100″ with some variation for different looks. Here are some of my favorites:
Then, I had a great opportunity to shoot some incredible nude photos with a great model at a great location on Sunday (1 July, 2012). Some of these are more artistic – as one would expect from a nude shoot versus shooting pornography, I imagine. Anyhow, shot this at 100 ISO, f14-29 with a good set of strobes. Enjoy!
Don’t forget to call or email for your next photo project! Magazine? Business pics? Catalog? I have the equipment and contacts to make it happen TODAY! Just let me know!
